LuperOral Roberts University junior guard Kevi Luper has been named to the Capital One Academic All-District 7 team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). The award honors the nation's top student-athletes for their performances both on the court and in the classroom.

Luper is no stranger to the awards circuit. The Adair native is a two-time Summit League Player of the Year and a two-time Associated Press All-American. In August, Luper competed with the United States National Team at the Pan-American Games in Mexico.

She is also a candidate for the Naismith Trophy, awarded annually to the top player in college baseball.

The junior is currently ranked 4th in the nation with 23.5 points per game and 3rd in the nation with 3.9 steals per game.

Luper led the nation in both categories as a sophomore in 2010-11.

A top performer on the hardwood, Luper also posts impressive numbers in the classroom. The Public Relations major sports a cumulative GPA of 3.49.

Luper is now a candidate for the Capital One Academic All-America team, which will be announced later in the season.
