Zumba at ORU for Local Charity

A Zumbathon will be hosted in the Oral Roberts University (ORU) Mabee Center Mezzanine (enter the Mabee Center through the North Lobby) to benefit Crisis Pregnancy Center (CPO) on February 12 from 6-8 pm. This event is open to the public. A $10 donation per person is suggested.

Zumba is a Latin-inspired-dance and cardio workout, which has grown to be largest dance-fitness program with over 10 million people participating worldwide. A Zumbathon is a two-hour event in which people have the opportunity to workout for an extended amount of time for a cause.

Crisis Pregnancy Outreach (CPO) is a full-service crisis pregnancy ministry, which provides emotional and practical support to women experiencing unplanned pregnancies. CPO also offers services for those women who wish to place their children for adoption. They provide open adoption services for those mothers in crisis who wish to place their children with a prospective adoptive family. CPO gives support to prospective adoptive families including: adoptive parent workshops, monthly support meetings, support groups for trans-racial adoptions, and they help with facilitating the adoption process.
