Alum Becomes Youngest GOP Chairman in Country

Matt Pinnell Oral Roberts University alum, Matt Pinnell, was recently announced as the new Oklahoma GOP Chairman. Pinnell the youngest chairman in the country at 30, took office last Monday. In this position, Pinnell's job will be to tell Oklahomans why he votes republican and that others should do the same.

"I think this state has a bright future," said Pinnell. "We need to work on our tort and workers' comp systems, which will in turn bring more jobs to this state."

This is not Pinnell's first experience working with the Oklahoma GOP. Previously he had worked under two State GOP Chairmen, Tim Daxon and Gary Jones, as the director of operations for the Republican Party. He also served as the Oklahoma Victory Director for the McCain-Palin campaign. Pinnell served as the Midwest Regional Director for the John Hancock Committee for the States and as a former campaign aide to U.S. Congressman Steve Largent, State Senator Scott Pruitt and U.S. Senator Tom Coburn M.D.
