Bonde Places Seventh in 200-Meter Final

Marvin Bonde raced to a seventh-place finish in the 200-meter dash finals on Saturday at Hayward Field to wrap up action for ORU at the 2010 Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Bonde, a junior from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, clocked a career-best time of 20.68 on Saturday to take the seventh spot. Bonde posted a time of 20.86 on Thursday to qualify for the finals and earn his first-career All-America honor to become the 10th Outdoor All-American in ORU history and the 18th overall.

Senior Rachel Talbert earned All-America status on Wednesday, marking the fourth time in the last five seasons that two or more Golden Eagles have garnered the accolade in the same outdoor season.
