Bring Good Cheer Toy DriveBring Good Cheer

For the second year, the ORU cheerleaders, dance team, mascots and Student Association worked with the Salvation Army in the Bring Good Cheer Toy Drive. This year, the toy drive was kicked off in chapel Nov. 18. After chapel, students received a free t-shirt with the Bring Good Cheer logo for their pledge of a toy. The spirit squads and Student Association were excited to join with the Salvation Army for this meaningful endeavor to provide every child with Christmas presents.

There were six boxes placed around campus for a toy collection. The toy drive culminated at the ORU Children's Open House and Christmas Concert on Dec. 4 where the community participated by bringing an unwrapped gift as admission to the concert that evening.

These toys will be distributed to children in the Tulsa area by the Salvation Army. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children in our community.
