Alumna Wins Award for Graphic Design Work

JP Jones, 2006 alum and communication arts adjunct instructor, received an Annual Communicator Award of Distinction from the 2008 Communicator Awards.

Jones won the Award of Distinction for her work with Collipsis Web Solutions, a company she co-owns. The Communicator Awards are judged and overseen by the International Academy of the Visual Arts and received over 9,000 entries for the 14th annual awards. Also, Jones' work was chosen from over 10,000 entries from across the U.S. and will be featured in the December issue of Graphic Design USA. She submitted a product catalog she did for iBelieve the Movement, a non-confrontational witnessing movement for youth and young adults, and was chosen from among 15% of the entries to be given this prestigious honor. Her piece will appear both in print and on the magazine's Web site at www.gdusa.com.
