The "ORU Blue" team, won first place in the undergraduate division at their site in the Association for Computing Machinery South Central USA Regional Programming Contest. The contest took place at four different sites in the south-central region which includes Oklahoma, Texas and Louisiana. The ORU team competed at the Oklahoma East Central University site in Ada, Oklahoma. The contest was held on Saturday, Oct. 18 from 12 to 5 p.m. with nine problems to solve. The ORU Blue team also placed 13th overall out of a total of 68 graduate and undergraduate teams from all four sites. ORU also sent the White team, who placed 18th at the ECU site and 52nd overall.
