Oral Roberts University's first production at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center will be Moonlight and Magnolias at 8 p.m. on Nov. 20-22 and at 2 p.m. on Nov. 23.

This hilarious comedy, set in Hollywood in 1939, takes its audience into the office of renowned movie producer David O. Selznick, who has halted film production on Gone with the Wind and is demanding a new screenplay within the next five days. Based on a true story, Moonlight and Magnolias recounts the absurdities of the actual events surrounding the creation of one of the most popular movies in history. Written by Ron Hutchinson and directed by Courtneay Sanders, the play will feature guest artist, ORU alumnus, and new faculty member Chris Crawford (previously of The Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington, D.C.).

Performances will be held in the Liddy Doenges Theatre at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center. Tickets may be purchased through the Tulsa PAC Box Office either by calling the PAC box office at (918) 596-7111, or online at www.MyTicketoffice.com. General admission tickets are $12 and student and senior tickets are $7. Limited seating is available. Come join us for an evening filled with riotous laughter you won't soon forget.
