Presidential Search Moves Forward and Two New Board of Trustees Members Added

The ORU Presidential Search Committee met and moved a step further in the selection process. The search consultant, Bruce Dingman, reviewed a number of candidates with the committee, and of that group four were chosen to advance. There were 135 people suggested over the past six months representing a wide diversity of experience, abilities and backgrounds. The committee ended the meeting optimistic of positive end results and knowing the Lord is in charge.

Also, at a recent meeting, W. P. Bartlett and Cameron Strang became the newest Board of Trustees members of Oral Roberts University.

On June 12, 2008, Bartlett received the Governor Nigh Award as the Outstanding International Citizen in Oklahoma for the Year 2008. He is also a life member of the Full Gospel Businessmen's Fellowship.
