School of Theology and Missions Reaccredited

The Association of Theological Schools Board of Commissioners met in June and voted to reaffirm accreditation of the Oral Roberts University School of Theology and Missions for a period of ten years. All degree programs were approved.

"This is a wonderful recognition of the quality of our seminary program and the sacrificial work of the faculty and staff," said Dr. Tom Mathew, dean of the School of Theology and Missions.

The board noted the strong sense of calling and vocation among the faculty and their dedication to students, as well as the strong, dynamic leadership in the School of Theology and Missions. They also encouraged maintaining and enhancing the distinctive mission of the school with its focus on the heritage of Oral Roberts and the message of gifts of the Holy Spirit, especially healing.
