ORU's Chemistry Students Honored

ORU's Student Affiliates Chapter of the American Chemical Society (ACS) has been selected to receive an honorable mention for its activities during the 2004-05 academic year. This accomplishment will appear in the ACS national trade journal Chemical and Engineering News in March 2006. Members of the chapter now belong to an elite group that recognizes only a few students nationally.

This award is due to the outstanding efforts and achievements made by Dr. Bob Stewart, Chair of the Chemistry Department, Dr. Ken Weed, the Faculty Advisor of the ACS Chapter, Foster Lasley, last year's Chapter President and other members of the chemistry department.
