Robert C. Dinsmore 88 is a surgeon in the U.S. Army, specializing in plastic and reconstructive surgery. He is currently deployed in Iraq, but has also done tours in Korea, Bosnia, and Afghanistan. Dinsmore said that he enjoys traveling all over the world and being challenged by his work.

"The Army provided me with the medical education that allowed me to become a plastic and reconstructive surgeon, a field which gives me a great deal of satisfaction," Dinsmore said. "I enjoy serving my country by treating the men and women who have given so much of themselves to serve their nation. I enjoy the challenge of solving difficult problems, often in difficult environments."

Dinsmore also said that he is grateful for the fact that regardless of where he is, God has a purpose for him to fulfill.

"One of the most important lessons I've learned is that God is in control," Dinsmore said. "I have learned that even though God's way may not be the way I would choose for myself, God has a plan for me. And that plan is for my benefit, and not my hurt."

Dinsmore is married to Susan. They have two children, Brian, 16, and Jessica, 13.
