ORU Faces Washington State in NCAA Tournament First Round

Oral Roberts has received a No. 14 seed and will face third-seeded Washington State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Thursday, March 15, in Sacramento, Calif., at ARCO Arena.

The Golden Eagles are led by three-time Mid-Continent Conference Player of the Year Caleb Green, who averages 20.8 points and 9.3 rebounds per game. Green became the Mid-Con's all-time leading scorer with 2,490 points in the championship game of the Mid-Con Tournament.

Green and teammate Ken Tutt became just the seventh set of teammates in NCAA history to eclipse the 2,000-point mark when he did so in the Mid-Con title game last week.

No. 11 Washington State (25-7) is led by junior Derrick Low, who averages 13.6 points per game. The Cougars finished in second place in the Pac-10 and fell to USC in the semifinals of the Pac-10 Tournament.
