Program Review Three-Year Process
- First Year
- The department chair completes a self-study, answering seventy-one questions such as, "What is [another university] doing that would improve ORU's program?"
- The Program Review department surveys four groups: 1) alumni, 2) current students, 3) faculty, and 4) employer and/or graduate faculty.
- Third-party peer at another university reviews the program, asking questions or noting concerns, such as safety practices in a lab.
- Volunteer ORU peers conduct a site review, which includes a site visit and report.
- Program Review writes a response with one of four potential outcomes for the program: eliminate, enhance, maintain, maintain with further review.
