The Eagles made it to the NCAA tournament by winning the Mid-Continent Conference championship game.
Our Golden Eagles worked hard all year to reach the NCAA tournament, and they succeeded. Unfortunately, they did not get past the first round.

That's okay. Making it to the tournament for the first time in 22 years brought a wealth of attention to ORU. History tells us that we'll see more prospective students inquiring about ORU, now that we've received so much national press. We've also had more contact with alumni all across the country. And recruiting for basketball? We expect that to get a boost as well.

The Alumni Association wants to thank all the alumni who attended home and away basketball games this season, and those who yelled their lungs out at the Mid-Con tournament games. We also want to thank all the alumni who came to the game in Dallas, who attended the watch party at ORU in Tulsa, and who held watch parties of their own (or viewed the game at work or at home). Your support meant a lot.

At this point, all we can say is, look out in '06-'07! We are coming back strong!
