The ORU Anna Vaughn School of Nursing has been awarded a $100,000 grant from Cancer Treatment Centers of America. This grant is renewable for up to 10 years, for a total of $1 million. A check was presented to President Richard Roberts and Dr. Kenda Jezek, dean of the School of Nursing, at a press conference in April at the new CTCA facility on 81st Street and Highway 169 in Tulsa.

The grant funds for 2005 will go toward scholarships for ORU nursing students, faculty development, and equipment for the nursing school's simulation lab.
