AC Classes Make Fitness Fun
|
A new not-for-credit Self-Defense course runs for three Saturdays, beginning April 5. Sessions are 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Aerobics Studio. Cost is $25.

Water Fitness, Mondays/Wednesdays/Friday, noon-12:45 p.m., or Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:45-7:30 a.m.--no charge
Step-plus Aerobics, Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays, 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m., $24/month
Circuit Training involves cardio and muscular strength training, bringing in walking/running, as well as floor and step aerobics with some kick-boxing moves. This class makes good use of lots of apparatus. Come to the Gymnastics room, Tuesdays/Thursdays, 5:10-6 p.m. Cost is $16/month
American Red Cross swimming lessons begin Friday, March 28. Offered during Family Time (Fridays from 7 to 10 p.m., Saturdays from noon to 4 p.m.), they'll cost $20 for eight lessons; a second session will begin April 25. Go to the AC front desk for levels and times, and be sure to bring your health insurance information with you.
Family CPR courses also begin on March 28--Fridays, 8-9 p.m. and Saturdays, 1-2 p.m., for four weeks. Cost is $30 per participant. A second session begins April 25 (Fridays, 8-10 p.m. and Saturdays, 1-3 p.m. for two weeks). Those who successfully complete the course will receive American Red Cross Certification.
Join our #1 women's tennis player, Isabelle Soucy, for Beginning Tennis lessons for all ages. The first session begins March 24 and runs for 4 weeks, Mondays/Wednesdays, 7:30-8:20 p.m. or 8:30-9:20 p.m. Second session is April 21-May 13, same days and times. The AC will also offer an intensive weekend session beginning Friday, April 4, 6:30-8:30 p.m., continuing Saturday, 10 a.m.-12 noon and Sunday, 1-3 p.m. All sessions will be held on the ORU tennis courts. Cost is $25.
