Prayer Breakfast Is Coming Soon

The annual Tulsa Christian Prayer Breakfast, an event that usually sells out early, will be held on Thursday, May 3, at the downtown Convention Center.

Breakfast and special music will begin at 6:15 a.m. The program, featuring Rev. Richard John Neuhaus, will run from 7 to 8:30 a.m. Former NBC correspondent Jim Hartz will serve as emcee.

ORU alumni Larry Dalton (69), Kelly Ford (A), and David Grothe (78), and former ORU music department chairman Dr. G. Barry Epperley are primarily responsible for the music at the breakfast.

Other alumni and students taking part in this nonpartisan, ecumenical meal include Carlton Pearson (A), Jim Stovall (81), and Anita Fine.

Tickets are $15 per person and can be purchased at Mardel's on South Harvard or at the Catholic Book and Gift Store on South Yale.
