Here Comes the Judge


Special District Judge Dennis Sprouse (75) will be the keynote speaker at the Golden Eagle Business Connection luncheon on Tuesday, April 10.

GEBC luncheons are now held at The Fountains restaurant (65th and South Lewis) from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Sprouse earned his ORU degree in interpersonal communication. He began his legal studies at Oklahoma City University Law School and finished at the University of Tulsa, receiving his juris doctorate in December 1977. He was in private practice for 8 years and served as president of the Sequoyah County Bar Association for 2 years before being appointed as a Special District Judge.

Sprouse spent 4 years on the ORU Alumni Association Board of Directors, including 1 year as president. He and his wife, Debbie (75), have been involved with Cutting Edge Ministries since 1979. Their older child, Abby, is finishing up her freshman year at ORU, where she is a member of the Gamma Beta Phi honor society.
