They're Tops in Sports

At the annual All-Sports Banquet on April 13, the following students were honored for being the best representatives of their sports:

* Deidre Emerson and Ben Houltberg, cross country
* Ashley Aldrich and Romiro Perez, soccer
* Juliana Moser, volleyball
* Krista Ragan and Eric Perry, basketball
* Carrie Pretorius and Gareth Donachie, tennis
* Heidi Brown and Charleton Dechert, golf
* Dena Dial and Ben Houltberg, indoor track
* Dena Dial and Virgil Maddox, outdoor track

During chapel on April 14, the winners of the President's Cup and First Lady's Cup were announced. Both were soccer players. Josh Cales, an engineering major, served as an RA, was active in community outreach, and traveled to Africa and Turkey on missions trips. Ashley Aldrich, an Academic All-American who took part in medical missions, has been accepted to the University of Oklahoma Medical School.
