2001: A Spain Odyssey
Alumni of ORU's 13 previous trips to Spain can testify to the value of the experience. If you never had a chance to go, or if you'd like to go again, you will want to sign up for "2001: A Spain Odyssey"--a 22-day trip that begins in Madrid and includes two days in Morocco. Brenda Calderon, assistant professor/modern languages, her husband, Juan, and David Farnsworth of the modern language department are the guides. This class/missions trip in May 2001 will feature lectures, street evangelism, ministry in many churches (including Gypsy churches), travel through Andalucia with stops in several major cities, a bullfight, stays in "non-touristy hotels," and much more.
Projected cost of the trip is about $1,400 plus airfare and tuition (if applicable). The first 10 people to pay their $100 deposit will receive $75 off the price of the trip.
