Time for Lunch
GEBC was created last spring to encourage business networking among alumni. Each luncheon, held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., features a brief talk by an alumnus who has carved a unique niche in the business community.
To date, speakers have included Jim Stovall (81), co-founder and president of the Narrative Television Network; Tim Harris (83-Law), Tulsa County District Attorney; John "Bengy" Bersin (94), president and CEO of Impressions on Hold; Michael Hairston (81), the first Oklahoman to be named a "Hero on Foot" by Walking magazine; John Mason (77), founder and president of Insight International and Insight Publishing; LeAnne Taylor (84), co-host of KOTV's "Six in the Morning"; Tim Redmond (84), executive vice president of Tax and Accounting Software Corporation (TAASC Force); Jay Betz (77), president of Thrifty Car Sales; Michael Predovic (A), managing director of corporate real estate, Williams Companies; Gordon Martin (82;88-MBA), senior vice president of Global Network Services, Williams Companies; and Lynette Troyer (84), national marketing manager, Deloitte and Touche LLP.
