Alumni Chapter News
Nineteen alumni attended the Dallas Chapter meeting, held Saturday, May 15 at Shady Grove Church in Grand Prairie, Tex. They enjoyed light refreshments and a time of fellowship, and heard how ORU is doing from George Paul (Alumni director) and Dr. Ralph Fagin (VP for Academic Affairs). Melody Preston explained how alumni can help recruit students for ORU. Alumnus Bob Barker spoke about his recent experience at ORU: handing out Bibles at Commencement, including one to his daughter, Charity.
Alumni in attendance were: Mark and Paula Sterns, Bob and Joan Barker, Jeff McKissack, John Mark and Diana Cassil, Jerry Cable, Ray and Joyce Hall, Jimmy and Pauli Jackson, Marye Lou Camp, Brent Hambrick, Derek and Tammy Leupen, Noel Pretila, Christy Wilkerson (the hostess), and Leslie Leupen. Current student Betsy Kokel and future ORU student Phillipe Corbaz also attended the meeting.
