2007 Spring Career Day - Employers Welcome
Campus-wide events such as this provide employers with the greatest visibility and assist in the development of early candidate relationships in order to ensure the greatest level of interested applicants from graduating classes.
Workshops will be scheduled in conjunction with the Conference and employers interested in presenting on career and industry related topics are welcome.
ORU is recognized for graduating students who are Professionally Competent, Socially Adept, Intellectually Alert, Physically Disciplined, and Spiritually Alive. Essentially, the kind of employees sought after for leadership roles in every organization. In fact, many ORU students are involved with ORU's Leadership Academy which hosts the annual Ignite Conference in Tulsa.
The graduating class is typically in excess of 700 students and ORU is noted for a diverse minority population within the student body. Participating employers of ORU's on-campus recruitment events have frequently referred to our candidate quality with the adage, "like shooting fish in a barrel." While we don't encourage this activity, we are confident you will agree with the sentiment that ORU graduates can be compared to the top 10% of any university in the nation.
