We’re talking ‘Creative Conversations’

ORU and Creative Oklahoma are teaming up to present the first Creative Conversations event on the ORU campus. It will feature a conversation with ORU alumnus Mark Steele, CEO and Executive Creative at Steelehouse Productions. The event is FREE but requires pre-registration. Copies of Steele’s most recent books will be given away as door prizes.

The event will take place at 7 p.m. on Sept. 24 in Zoppelt Auditorium and is open to both alumni and students.

Creative Conversations are exactly that: conversations about creative. Each event features a set of different voices, all connected to the host university and working in creative endeavors. The conversations center on the nature of creativity, the creative process, and on how we can equip ourselves and our community with greater creative skills to solve current and future problems.

Mark Steele is the CEO and Executive Creative of Steelehouse Productions, where he creates art for film, stage, and animation. The author of the award-winning book Flashbang, Christianish, and Half-Life-Die-Already, Steele is also the Chief of Creative Affairs for Big Idea Entertainment, where he scripts the popular VeggieTales series. He lives with his wife and four children in Oklahoma.
