What is the C.S. Lewis and the Inklings Society?
The C.S. Lewis and Inklings Society is a non-profit professional organization dedicated
to promoting scholarship, teaching, and writing related to Lewis and the
Inklings. Through literature and the fine arts, the Society will reflect and
further Lewis’s and the Inklings’ focus on Christ and Christianity and these
authors’ passion for the development of the moral imagination and its effect on
the understanding and appreciation of life.
Do I need to join the society to attend?
To attend one need not join the society, however, all presenters must join the society to
present. The membership form can be found here.
How do I register?
Both presenting and non-presenting attendees must register. Please visit the

Who are the keynote speakers?
Keynote speakers include Christopher Mitchell and Ralph Wood. Dr. Christopher Mitchell is the Director
of the Marion E. Wade Center and Assistant Professor of Theological Studies at
Wheaton College. He also serves as Book Review Editor for Seven, a
journal published annually by the Wade Center on its authors. Dr. Ralph Wood is
a Professor of Theology and Literature at Baylor University and is also the
author of The Gospel According to Tolkien: Visions of the Kingdom in
Middle-Earth.
