YOUR ORU EMAIL ACCESS IS CHANGING!

All Alumni and Active Student email accounts will be migrated from Groupwise to Microsoft Office 365. During the migration process your individual Groupwise account will not be available. To check on the status of your email account at any time, please see My Email Status.

Migration Schedule:

Alumni (non-active student): beginning Nov 26th

Active Student: beginning Dec 15th

What to Expect:

Once your migration starts, you should have access to Office 365 Web Access immediately, and all your new email should arrive there. An auto-forward rule will be created on your old GroupWise account so any new email that does arrive in GroupWise will be sent to Office 365. During the migration, all your existing GroupWise email will be copied to Office 365, and you will not be able to login to GroupWise. There will be 1,000s of accounts migrating at the same time, so it may take several days for your migration to complete. Please be patient. After the migration, you should be able to login to GroupWise again to check that all your email messages copied correctly. Note, only email messages are copied automatically. Other items such as personal contacts and calendars will not be migrated automatically.

Accessing Your ORU Office 365 Email

There are several different ways to connect to your Office 365 email.

Office 365 Web Access

Web access to your Office 365 account is available from anywhere you have Internet access using Microsoft's Outlook Web App. Web access is full-featured and provides a nearly identical experience to Microsoft Outlook.

When you're finished using the Web App, remember to choose sign out and then close out the browser.

Configure Outlook to Access Office 365

Microsoft Office 365 is accessible using Outlook. Follow the step-by-step instructions here to configure Outlook on a PC or MAC.

Mobile Device Access

Office 365 can be used on many mobile devices, including Apple, Android and others. Follow the step-by-step instructions here to configure your Office 365 account for your email.
