Forwarding Email from Groupwise to Office 365

If your GroupWise account has been migrated to Office 365, an auto-forward rule (called FORWARD TO MIGRATED MAILBOX) has been added to your old GroupWise account.  This rule automatically forwards any new email that arrives in your GroupWise mailbox to Office 365. 

To forward existing email messages not already in Office 365 manually, please follow the steps below.

 


 1. Log into the Groupwise Web Client (gwmail.oru.edu) with your ORU email address and password.

2. Right-click on the email that you want to move to Office 365 and choose Forward from the dropdown list.

Select the email you want to forward.

3. Enter your oru email address (username@oru.edu) in the To: field.

4. This will automatically re-direct the email that you want to move from Groupwise into your Office 365 account.

5. Log into the Office 365 Web Client (office365.oru.edu) with your ORU email address and password.

6. You should see the email that you forwarded in your inbox. Open the attachment to view your old email.

7. Repeat steps 2-4 for all the email in your Groupwise account that you wish to forward.
