Research & Sponsored Programs

The Office of Sponsored Programs strives to be true to its mission of providing outstanding service to the faculty and staff in their pursuit and administration of funding. The office provides full service throughout the life cycle of a project, from preliminary budget review to award closeout. Our office structure is organized into three areas, pre-award, non-fiscal post-award and fiscal post-award (grant accounting).

The pre-award staff handles the preliminary review and approval of all proposals as well as the negotiation and establishment of all awards. The post-award staff handles the administration of the awards including billing and closeout of the awards. The non-fiscal post award staff works to ensure research and sponsored projects are conducted in a safe and ethical manner, and in compliance with pertinent laws, regulations, and guidelines.

Sponsored Programs provides comprehensive services to support, train and inform new (and not so new) faculty and staff. The Research Development Program can provide the extra bit of assistance needed for your success.
