Job Transition Services

All employees affected by the reduction in force will be offered and are encouraged to participate in a comprehensive career/job transition program being provided by MBC Associates of Tulsa. This service is part of the separation package and is being offered at no cost to all affected employees.

Career Transition starts with a self-assessment process in which the ideal next position is defined. This important step allows affected employees to enter the job market with a plan of action and will increase efficiency and decrease frustration/anxiety dramatically. This assessment is vitally important no matter what the organizational level/salary requirements are.

Simultaneous to the self-assessment process affected employees will be prepared for all aspects of the job search. This includes, but is not limited to, resume development/updating (to reflect career/job objective), interview preparation, and learning how to most effectively use job search time (investing time between recruiters, newspaper/online ads and networking). Affected employees are also entitled to ongoing counseling and/or coaching throughout the length of their job search. There is no time limit on this service. MBC Associates will work with these employees until suitable new employment is obtained

The Career Transition Service also includes an office support system with typing, answering service, computer/internet access, long distance telephone privileges and resume copying provided. Affected employees are encouraged to take advantage of this convenience.
