Answers inquiries and resolves reported Tier 1 and Tier 2 problems that must be addressed with a physical site visit. Sets up equipment, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, software, and peripheral equipment. Contacts user directly to coordinate site visits related to requested issue resolution and new equipment installation. Forwards issues outside of responsibility or expertise to appropriate department individuals and external vendors. Provides assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems. Develops training materials and procedures, or trains users in proper use of hardware and software. Performs routine maintenance on equipment and determines when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED required. Vocational or Technical School training/certification in related field preferred
WORK EXPERIENCE: Requires two years related work experience. Each relevant industry certification may be substituted for 1-2 years of experience. Substitution varies by certification and current department need. Proficiency in Windows 7/10 and MS Office products required. Experience with Office 365/Outlook, and remote desktop products required. Experience with Mac OS, iOS, and desktop imaging tools preferred.
LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT(S): Preferred but not required. Computer related certifications will be given consideration.

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Will include but not be limited to: sitting, standing, stooping, walking, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, repetitive motions, manual dexterity for use of office equipment, climbing hand over hand, occasional lifting up to 50 lbs, and minimal lifting or carrying of 51lbs or more. Vision to include: near, far, depth perception, visual accommodation, color and field of vision. Frequent exposure to heat associated with enclosed areas and electrical hazards.
