Assistant/Associate Professor of Marketing
Successful candidates will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in marketing. Research in marketing, professional and teaching excellence, strong ORU fit and servant leadership are expected. The successful candidate will assume student advisory responsibilities, serve on university committees and attend chapel services. This position reports to the Chairs and the Dean in the College of Business.
The applicant will teach undergraduate and graduate courses. The applicant must be able to assume student advisory responsibilities and technology-related activities. Faculty members serve on university and academic committees and attend chapel services. Faculty members are expected to pursue professional presentations and publications. Opportunities for faculty development are available and participation is strongly encouraged.
The applicant should have a Ph.D., D.B.A. or equivalent degree. Three years of academic or industry experience recommended. Five or more years preferred. Doctoral qualification in Marketing is required. Credentials in Finance, International Business, or Entrepreneurship are a plus. Spirit empowered Christian commitment and compatibility with an honor code of conduct are essential.
