Eagle Card

Your Eagle Card is the property of Oral Roberts University. It is not transferable to any other cardholder and must be carried with you at all times. It must be returned to the University upon the University's request.

Card Production and Classification

Employee and Student Status
Full-time employee status takes precedence over student status for the purpose of issuing Eagle Cards. Part-time employees who also are enrolled as students have the option of either classification (employee or student).

Number of Cards Allowed
Each cardholder may only have one Eagle Card at a time.

Photographs
ID photos are the property of the University and may not be given out for any purpose other than Administrative University business.

Hats and sunglasses are not allowed in Eagle Card photos. Students and employees must meet University guidelines in regard to facial hair, hair color, and piercings.

Names
Surname changes must first be made with the Registrar. If the name change has been made at the Registrar but does not yet show on the Eagle Card database, proof of name change will be required. Proof may be marriage license or divorce certificate or an old Eagle Card along with a new driver's license.

First and middle names may be switched before the Eagle Card is printed at the request or the cardholder. Common nicknames are also permitted at the cardholder's request.

Replacement Card Fees

Your first Eagle Card is free. In the event that your card is lost or stolen, a $20 ($10 for staff and faculty) fee will be assessed to students payable by cash, check, credit/debit card or Eagle Bucks. Payment must be made when card is issued. You must have a valid and current driver's license, state issued ID, passport, or other form of official identification in order to be issued a new ORU Eagle card.

Trade-In Policy

Eligible Eagle Cards can be traded in for free at any time while you are a current ORU student, faculty or staff.  Trade-ins are NOT accepted for Eagle Cards that have been damaged outside of normal use. The cost for a non-eligible, trade-in/replacement card will be $20. Please bring the original card to the Eagle Card Center so a staff member can determine eligibility.
