See for Yourself Why ORU is so Special
Your parents or grandparents went to ORU and loved it. Now you can come to campus and see for yourself what we have to offer. It's a great opportunity to attend a chapel service, visit classes that interest you, eat in our cafeteria and take in the homecoming basketball game - plus much more.
You'll also have an opportunity to tour the campus with a knowledgeable Student Ambassador, visit with admissions advisors and take part in campus life activities. It's a great way to get a good look at the ORU campus, our students and our faculty. We think you're going to like what you see.
You will need to arrange your own lodging and transportation to ORU.
Here's what you'll do during your action-packed weekend visit:
Friday
9:00 am – Check-in: Office of Undergraduate Admissions- GC 3.5 East
9:30 am – Legacy Hike: LRC 3rd Floor Information Desk- The tour will end at GC 3rd floor Pit.
10:50 am – Chapel: Christ’s Chapel
12:15 pm – Lunch: Cafeteria
1:30 pm – Afternoon classes: Various Locations- You will be able to choose from a list of available classes that will be provided upon arrival.
2:30 pm – University 101: GC 4114 Learn more about what it's like being a college student.
3:30 pm – Afternoon classes: Various Locations- You will be able to choose from a list of available classes that will be provided upon arrival.
Saturday
9:30 am - 11:00 am – ORU update with Board Chair Mart Green & President Dr. Mark Rutland: Zoppelt
10:00 am – 11:00 a.m. -
11:00 am – Legacy Hike: Zoppelt Lobby- The tour will end at GC 3rd floor Pit.
12:00 pm – Lunch: Cafeteria (Meet at the Admissions Welcome Center to walk over)
