Join other high school students and college transfer students to experience college life at ORU for an entire weekend! Every semester, students travel from all over the country to ORU’s campus to test drive college classes, experience dorm life, explore scholarship opportunities, create new friendships and have a life-changing encounter with God! Who should come?

The weekend is open to any prospective students who want to participate. On-campus housing is available for high school sophomores, juniors and seniors and college transfers between the ages of 15 and 24.  Parents and other guests are invited to attend events as well. Parents and sponsors should complete registration on the Parents/Sponsor page. Registration opens May 2, 2016 for upcoming events!

What's the cost?

This includes the student's stay in the residence halls, all meals during College Weekend and an ORU t-shirt. The registration fee is $60 per student. The cost for each parent or sponsor is $25 and includes all meals throughout the weekend. 

Is there transportation?

If you arrive by flight, airport shuttles to and from campus will be provided from Tulsa International Airport (TUL) Wednesday morning through Saturday evening. If you come by bus, we will pick you up at the Greyhound bus terminal if you request transportation ahead of time. We must receive your arrival and departure information one week prior to your arrival. Transportation requests will open September 1, 2016 for upcoming events. 

Please note: we cannot accommodate Monday departures.

Can I audition for scholarships while I am there?

Yes, auditions for Talent Scholarships for students interested in majoring in Art, Dance, Drama, Broadcasting and Music will be taking place. For Dance auditions, please visit www.oru.edu/dance. All other auditions must be requested. Audition requests will open September 1, 2016 for upcoming events. 

What should I bring?

If you are planning to stay on campus, please bring the following:

  • Sleeping bag and pillow (you'll be camping out on the floor)
  • Towel
  • Personal items
  • Casual clothes
