Donations of Stock

Thank you for your interest in donating stock to Oral Roberts University. There are several ways to transfer stock – electronically (preferred and most secure method), or via regular mail. Donor intent notification

All stock gifts must include a Notification of Donor Intent. For audit and acknowledgement purposes, the donor or transferring broker should provide the following information for all stock gifts:

    Donor's name and address
    Name and number of securities transferred
    Area at Oral Roberts University to which the gift should be directed, if any

You must use the gift form, provide a letter, or send an e-mail with this information at the time of transfer to:

Gift of Securities by Electronic Transfer

The easiest way to donate securities is electronically through your broker. You must initiate the transfer with your broker. For electronic transfers of stock, Oral Roberts University brokerage information is as follows:

Gift of Securities by US Mail

If mailing the certificate, please do the following:

Mail the certificate, signed Stock Power Form and Code 116 (with Irrevocable Bond Power form) in separate envelopes*
or
Sign the certificate over to Oral Roberts University*

*This requires a medallion signature guarantee. A gift letter must also be sent indicating the name, number of shares, certificate number(s) and that the transfer is a gift/donation to Oral Roberts University. Certificates, stock powers, and Code 116 must be signed exactly as the name(s) appear on the certificate.
