Would You Like to Be on the Board?

The ORU Alumni Association Board of Directors is making plans for the fall 2010 election. Those who are elected next fall will take office in February 2011. Alumni who have an interest in serving ORU in this manner are encouraged to think about running for office.

If you would like to be considered for a spot on the fall 2010 ballot, click here and fill out the application.

The board has four segments that represent the graduating classes. They are:

Segment 1: 1968-1979
Segment 2: 1980-1989
Segment 3: 1990-1999
Segment 4: 2000-2009
Segment 5 will be added for the Class of 2010.

There are also eight At Large directors and nine appointed directors. Class segment and At Large directors are elected by fellow ORU graduates. The appointed directors are chosen by sitting alumni board members.

Looking ahead to the 2010 election, these segments will have openings for new directors:

Segment 1: 1 opening
Segment 2: 1 opening
Segment 3: 1 opening
Segment 4: 1 opening
At Large: 4 openings
Appointed: 4 openings
