Introducing … the new ORU Alumni Card!
Your card offers a number of benefits involving Armand Hammer Alumni-Student Center, Prayer Tower, and Library access. To receive a card, you will need to fill out a brief form and sign the Alumni Lifestyle Commitment.

Please allow up to one week for us to process your request.
Prayer Tower—Alumni will need to have an Alumni Card in order to go to the Observation Deck of the Prayer Tower. (An ID card is required of all visitors.) During the school year (August-April), when the Prayer Rooms are open, alumni can have access by showing their Alumni Card. For summer 2018, the Prayer Tower will be open Monday-Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Hammer Center—The Hammer Center is open to alumni during operating hours. This includes access to the dining area, living room, game room and TV lounge. To check out gaming equipment downstairs, or special radios to listen to the programs featured on our big screen television, please bring your valid Alumni Card. The Workroom can be reserved here: http://hammercenter.org/reserve/
In addition to all the fun and games alumni can participate in downstairs—and free Wi-Fi—you can enjoy the alumni-only second floor, including a high-tech conference room, the Alumni Bookcase with ORU Perihelion yearbooks and books by alumni authors, and comfortable furniture for relaxing and catching up with friends. The Development and Alumni Relations office is also on the second floor. Drop in and say hi!
Alumni must have an Alumni Library Card to check out books. You can purchase this card from the ORU Eagle Card Center once you have a valid Alumni Card.. The office is located on the third floor of the Learning Resources Center (first door on the right, just inside the main doors). The office is open Monday through Friday, 8:30-11:00 a.m. and noon-5:00 p.m. The cost is $10.
Only alumni who are playing on an intramural basketball or volleyball team may use the AC, and only in-season when practicing with their team or during a game. To participate in intramural basketball or volleyball, alumni must have a valid Alumni Card and be approved to play. Alumni can request approval to be on these intramural teams by e-mailing email@example.com. Once approved, alumni can enter the AC by checking in at the front desk and showing a valid Alumni Card. Those with a valid Alumni Card can watch intramural games in the AC if they have been approved previously by the Alumni Relations office.
A note from the Office of Development and Alumni Relations:
“Following an evaluation of the growing student population on campus and the liabilities involved, ORU made a decision in 2017 to discontinue alumni usage of the Aerobics Center (AC). Alumni who had already renewed their Eagle Cards before the decision was made were able to use the AC through July 31, 2018, at which time their cards expired. A new Alumni Card that grants other types of access was recently introduced. You can learn more about this free card here and apply for it here. There are many benefits to being an ORU alumnus. Please see them by clicking on this link. We are also rolling out many new ways to be connected with your alma mater—please continue to visit alumni.oru.edu!”
