Unprecedented Growth

We’re Growing Like Never Before

Over the last nine years, God has favored ORU with an incredible increase in enrollment growth. As our student population continues to increase, it’s imperative we maintain pace with demand and provide the additional student housing opportunities required for community.

Currently, our campus residences are nearly at full capacity. In order to adequately attract, retain, and prepare the next generation of student-leaders seeking a Spirit-empowered whole person education, we must make room. Many rooms, in fact.

To continue ORU’s mission of reaching the uttermost bounds of the earth with God’s love and healing power, we are committed to addressing this need and preparing to welcome even more world-changers to ORU.

Making Room for Increase

It’s Time to Build

To meet this need, we’ve launched Phase II of the 50th Anniversary Comprehensive Campaign, which includes the development of an innovative apartment-style residence to house more students. This new residence, located north of Christ’s Chapel, will be built debt-free and 100% funded by donor support.

In order to continue building upon ORU’s solid financial foundation, the university’s commitment to sound fiscal stewardship remains unchanged. This philosophy and approach applies the same financial formula we used to build our ONEOK Sports Complex and Global Learning Center completely debt-free.

Building Independence

Beautifully Designed for Building Independence

As time goes by, students pivot from enjoying their ORU experience to preparing for life beyond graduation. What comes next? What preparations do I need to be making now? What responsibilities should I be preparing for? These are the questions in the forefront of their minds.

The new apartment-style residence is designed with this transition from college life to post-college life in mind. This state-of-the-art facility, with a separate wing for men and a separate wing for women, will offer furnished suites with private baths, shared living/dining/kitchen, high-speed Internet, Wi-Fi, and cable TV service. The residence will allow us to offer more living options to our students.

The Gold Standard of Living Accommodations

Setting the Standard for Christian Community Living

Students living in our new residence will enjoy all the conveniences of living on campus – access to classrooms, chapel, the Prayer Tower, the bookstore, the Aerobics Center, the Hammer Alumni-Student Center – while getting prepared for post-college life in a stunning, state-of-the-art facility.

The apartment-style residence will feature:

-      separate wings for men and women

-      furnished suites, each with a living room, kitchenette, and private bath

-      high-speed Internet and Wi-Fi in all suites

To date, we have raised 70% of the funds needed to begin construction, but we need your support and generosity to make this incredible opportunity a reality.

Be part of the amazing 21st-century transformation that's happening at ORU by making a financial commitment today…and let’s see how God moves on our campus and through our students to impact the world in His Name!
