What do you love about ORU?
What's not to love about ORU? My favorite thing about ORU is the variety of opportunities to get involved and impact the world around you. During my time at ORU, I had the privilege of traveling to China with ORU Missions to work in an orphanage, spend time at a local children's shelter each week with ORU Outreach, complete multiple practicums that prepared me for the social work field, and take part in community fundraisers and events with the ORU Dance Team. ORU provides students authentic experiences, both spiritually and academically, that push them to become all that they were created to be in Christ.
What activities were you involved in at ORU?
I was involved in multiple activities here at ORU. I was a part of the ORU Dance Team all four years. We not only got to perform at each men and women's basketball home game, but also held camps for kids in the community. I was also involved with ORU Missions and Outreach and Social Work Club. Each program I took part in allowed me to build friendships with students around me and made me feel a part of the university.
What's your favorite thing to do in Tulsa?
Tulsa has a ton to offer! One of my favorite places in Tulsa is cute a frozen custard shop called Andy's. You can never go wrong with whatever you choose! Tulsa also has beautiful trails and parks to run.
