Bold and astute business leaders are in demand in today's complex and volatile economy. The School of Business at ORU combines a cutting-edge business education with a biblical worldview.
If you are analytical, purpose driven, think logically and love numbers and financial analysis, consider pursuing a degree in accounting. While the accounting major at ORU is considered one of the most difficult majors in the School of Business, its graduates consistently complete the CPA exam with high passing marks. The accounting program combines a broad business foundation with a concentration of specialized accounting courses, providing its graduates with the potential to move confidently into many areas of the business world. Accounting majors at ORU are encouraged to pursue the five-year professional MBA program, in order to meet the 150-hour requirement for CPA certification in most states.
