Program Overview

The College of Theology facilitates Spirit-led growth and discipleship in students and equips them as ministers and leaders in the Body of Christ. Foundational to this purpose, students are equipped with a solid knowledge of the Bible, a sound understanding of theology and an effective grasp of ministry enabling them, through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, to proclaim the healing Gospel of Jesus Christ. The undergraduate Theology Department offers majors in the following areas: biblical literature, Christian caregiving & counseling, global ministry & the marketplace, ministry & leadership, and theological-historical studies.

The Christian Caregiving & Counseling Major is designed to educate and equip students with the philosophy, methods, and resources suitable for professional or lay ministry in a broad range of pastoral settings. Within the major a cognate is required which is composed of the following courses: hermeneutics, teaching the Bible, principles of psychology, research seminar, introduction to theology, and ethics.
