Training for Compassionate, Spirit-led Ministry
Those who feel called by God to Christian service will find a welcoming academic home within the College of Theology and Ministry. When you enroll in our undergraduate program, you will be part of a program recognized for the highest academic standards. All of our professors hold doctorate degrees and many are graduates of such respected institutions as Yale, Duke, Vanderbilt and Fuller Seminary to name a few. We have earned the maximum 10-year accreditation from the Association of Theological Schools (ATS), which assures you an education that is academically challenging and a degree that is well respected across denominations. ORU has a working relationship with over 3,000 ministries in the United States and abroad.
One of the great strengths of our program is the rich international character of our student body. Theology and Ministry students come to ORU from countries around the world to study in a program that is spirit-led and focused on taking the message of Christ to a needy world.
Each summer, the ORU missions department sends over 400 students to 30+ locations to share salvation through Jesus Christ with an estimated 70,000 people.
As the need for Christian leadership grows among our churches and across our world, ORU's graduates are answering the call with an eye toward following God's leading to local congregations, the mission field, Christian education and thousands of other destinations within His plan.
