Born in Argentina and a citizen of Chile, South America, David and Fernanda currently serve as the Church of God World Missions Director for Latin America. From 2008 to 2010 Ramirez served as the Director for South America and from 2006 to 2008 he served as the Administrative Bishop for the South West Hispanic Region, USA. He established the South American Seminary in Quito, Ecuador (SEMISUD) where he served for 14 years as president (1993-2006).

Dr. Ramirez is the founder and was the Senior Pastor of a 1,000 members Capilla del Valle Church, Quito, Ecuador (2000-2006). He served as president of the Church of God South Cone Theological Seminary in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Senior pastor of Almagro Church of God (1986-1992).

Ramirez holds a D.Min. from Asbury Theological Seminary (Beeson Scholar), M.Div. from the Pentecostal Theological Seminary and two Honorific Doctoral degrees for his excellence in Christian Leadership.

Since 2006 he has been a member of the Church of God International Executive Council and has collaborated in several boards within and outside the denomination. He is also serving on the steering committee of the 4/14 Window Movement and on the Strategy Working Group for the Lausanne Movement. He is an international speaker, writer and professor on Christian Global Leadership, Narrative Preaching, Church Planting, and Practical Theology.

He is married to Fernanda Snaidero from Argentina and they have three beautiful children.
